Four Awards at the 51st National Quality Management Competition

Techcross, a
comprehensive environmental company, achieved four awards at the 51st National
Quality Management Competition.
The
Competition, hosted by the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards (KATS)
under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources (MOTIR) and organized by
the Korean Standards Association (KSA), was held on November 19 at COEX in
Gangnam, Seoul. With approximately 2,000 attendees including the Prime Minister
and key industry representatives, a total of 487 awards were presented in
recognition of achievements in quality management. Among the awardees,
Techcross received honors both organizational and individual categories,
winning the Prime Minister’s Award in the National Quality Management Merit
(Organization) category, the Minister’s Award in the Excellent Quality
Competitiveness Company category, the Silver Prize in the Excellent Quality
Circle category, and the KSA Commendation in the National Quality Management
Merit (Individual) category.
Techcross, which has led the global market with its eco-friendly marine equipment, BWMS, received the Prime Minister’s Award in recognition of its technological leadership in transforming environmental regulations into business opportunities, as well as its outstanding ESG-based quality and service performance in recent years. Since fully implementing quality management, Techcross has maintained an A+ rating in its ESG Management Level Certificate, been selected as an Excellent Company in ISO management systems, and shared their best practice by presenting case studies at annual ISO seminars. Through these continuous efforts, Techcross has been selected as an Excellent Quality Competitiveness Company for three consecutive years, bringing it one step close to entry into the Hall of Fame. In addition, In addition, Techcross’s Quality Circle team, having advanced from regional preliminaries in June to the national competition in August, ultimately won the Silver Prize, while General Manager Beomjoon Kim received a KSA Commendation in the individual merit category.
Techcross shared that these awards reflect
the company’s achievements in overall management through quality-driven
innovation, including quality improvement, cost reduction, productivity
enhancement, and customer satisfaction. The company added that it will continue
to strengthen its quality management efforts to deliver the highest-quality
products and services, not only in the shipbuilding industry but also in the
future energy sector. |
