On July 7, Kwon Kyung-an, Head of Techcross Research Center, received the “Korea Engineer Awards” for July.

The award, hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and organized by the Korea Industrial Technology Association (KOITA), is designed to encourage technological innovation in industry and to contribute to national competitiveness and corporate growth. Each month, one engineer from a large enterprise and one from an SME are selected, fostering a culture of respect for engineers.

Director Kwon was recognized for his contributions to enhancing the competitiveness of Korean environmental industry by localizing the core equipment of ballast water management systems, completing vertical integration of the equipment, and leading the development of water electrolysis systems directly connected to renewable energy.

He stated, “I will continue to do my best to promote green hydrogen water electrolysis facilities, which are essential for solving the climate crisis, and to advance the water electrolysis industry.”
