Techcross Contracts with Singapore’s PIL to Supply BWMS for 28 Ships

Techcross Singapore Office has entered into a contract with Singapore’s Pacific International Lines (PIL), the largest ship owner in Southeast Asia, to install ballast water management systems for 28 container ships in its fleet. Even under the difficult conditions caused by the COVID-19 shutdowns, Techcross Singapore Office has been in good cooperation with with PIL, leading to this mega contract. The agreement entails sequential deliveries till 2024. PIL, with its fleet of around 100 vessels, and remains open for the rest of vessels to install Techcross ballast water management systems.

 

In 2012, Techcross successfully delivered the systems for 20 container ships owned by APL (acquired by CMA CGM France). Winning orders from large container carriers in Singapore, a trading port city with high container throughput, Techcross has proven its ability to effectively provide products and services. Moreover, the company is strengthening its after sales and parts supply service after installation, which is the main sales strategy in Singapore, home to many ship management companies.

 

 

Meanwhile, Techcross Singapore Office was relocated to a larger office in Jurong East in April 2020 to boost its sales operation. Through the reinforcement of professional manpower and staunch cooperation with local partners, the office is getting close to the real hub in the Southeast Asia by providing high quality and swift services for customers in the region.
